2024年12月31日, 北京大学药学院天然药物及仿生药物全国重点实验室刘涛团队和中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院合成生物学研究所合成生物化学研究中心罗小舟团队在国际著名学术期刊《化学评论》(Chemical Reviews, 影响因子51.4)联合在线发表了题为“Genetic code expansion: recent developments and emerging applications”的综述文章, 并被选为期刊封面。文章从系统层面详细概述了基因密码子扩展技术(GCE)的现状以及面临的挑战与机遇, 并重点论述了其在合成生物学、生物机制研究和新型治疗等前沿领域的应用潜力。
