Abstract:

The current situation of household storage drugs in China was investigated with 6278 questionnaires by random sampling. It was found that 56.2% of surveyed families had reserved drugs, and traditional Chinese medicine, over-the-counter medicine, and drugstore-purchased drug accounted for 64.2%, 53.8%, and 79.1%, respectively. Therefore, it might be necessary to strengthen the propaganda and education on rational prescription, preparation, and rational drug use.
