A New Phenylethanoid Glucoside from Buddleia officinalis

Abstract: A new phenylethanoid glycoside, neobudofficide B was isolated from Buddleia officinalis. On the basis of spectral and chemical evidence, the glycoside was identified as-β-(3',4'-dihydroxy, 6'-N-pyridinechloride-phenyl )-ethyl-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-( 1→3 )-β-D-( 4''-O-caffeoyl )glucopyranoside.
